Travis Myles, Chairperson
Louisville

Mr. Myles received his Associates in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Louisville. He later completed his law degree at the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. Since then, he has been practicing in the Louisville area on his own. His practice focuses on Social Security disability, probate and estate planning, traffic and minor criminal cases, and he is also a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem for adult guardianship and paternity courts. He chaired the Social Security section of the Louisville Bar Association for two years. He has sung with VOICES of Kentuckiana (a lgbt chorus) and has served as the chair of their public relations committee. He is a member of the Beaux Arts Ball committee which oversees the major lgbt black-tie annual fundraiser in Louisville. He co-chaired that committee in 2005 and 2006. He became chairperson of Kentucky Fairness Alliance in 2009.


Ampersand. The Ampersand symbolizes the solidarity we are building through Friends & Family, and suggests the inclusiveness we are working toward. It reflects the idea that no one individual, legislator, organization, or city can carry all the water for equality. Our success lies in our solidarity.
